Develop Your Niche

Develop your Niche and they will come.

There is this thing about Niche blogging that is catching on with America...they have been some that have been doing this for quite a long-time and then there are the people that are just realizing what a blog is. Which one are you?

For those that have been blogging for a long time, they either started with their niche(something specific that they want to blog about) or ended up developing their niche over a course of time...Most times it just came to them, and that is what their readers responded most to and they just rolled with it or they had to work extra hard to get people to read their blogs.

Once you develop your Niche, you should annihilate it...and what I mean by that is keep your blog simply about that...every now and again you can sway from it...it happens all the time...even in Hollywood...take Ice Cube for instance, when he first came on the scene in hollywood, most of us knew who he was from his rap music with NWA, but when he first started acting, all he could get was gangster, thugged out parts, that was his Niche that got him in the door. Look at him now he had to prove to hollywood that he could be more than be a gangster, and I really like Ice Cube the versatile actor, starring in kid films and all that...so now he has a new Niche...but this aint Hollywood, more like Nicheworld.

You success in the blog world started with you wanting to blog, and then you ask yourself, what will I talk about...talk about whatever you feel and something you know about...and keep talking about it and talking about it...the readers will come in time...For instance, I like self-help type stuff, but then again I like sports too...but when it comes down to it...my first blog is like a hodgepodge of all different things...usually what ever comes to my mind and for me that is a lot...I talk to much is what I was always told as a kid...but what I am discovering is my Niche.

Once you develop your Niche according to the bog boys, if you goal was to make money forget about for the first few months, you are just getting your readership base up and they are liking and trusting you...you don't have to sell anything to your readers, because everyone likes information and more than that...they like free information, at least I do. So what you do is let your readers into your mind and then when you think you have nothing else to talk about in your niche, read your comments, you might have a question that you can answer from one of your readers, and that will keep you going...another thing to do is hang out with other people that talk about what you do...they might have a interesting topic that make your juices flow about your Niche and then you can create a blog from that.

There are a ton of options out there for you to talk about when it comes to your niche, you just have to find them...and if you keep reading my post, you might just find your Niche...I once saw a book that was name "Do what you love and the money will follow" that is so true...so what I want you to do tonight is write down all the things that you have a interest in and know a little something or alot about...because that might just be your Niche.
